This spring/summer, at Oakhaven Ranch, we have been challenged by the highest water levels in 350 years. This has created many delays in our ranching operations, one of them being posting foal photos for our 2011 Oakhaven Ranch 8th Annual Select Sale. The situation is rapidly improving and we are anticipating posting photos in the very near future. Thank-you for your patience.

NEW PERCHERON STALLION

Oakhaven Ranch is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of KNOX\'S FIRST START HANK. A big thank-you to Eli and Elmina Ebersol of First Start Acres for the opportunity to purchase this outstanding percheron stallion. Knox\' First Start Hank is sired by Yoder Farm\'s Duke who has a dominant presence in the show ring including 2005 Junior Champion-Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, 2006 Grand Champion Percheron stallion-Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, 2008 Reserve Grand Champion-Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, 2009 All Canadian Stallion and in 2010 he was named the Premier Sire of Ontario, Canada. Knox\'s First Start Hank\'s grand-sire is Windermere King Kong - a Royal Winter Fair Champion as well as a National Champion and two time All-American. King Kong is the grand sire of the current Supreme World Champion Percheron. We are excited to see what these new blood lines will add to our breeding program at Oakhaven Ranch.

We are pleased to add AQHA TIVIO PEP SAN to our lineup of Performance Stallions. Tivio Pep San was sired by Sonny Pep San who was a powerful performance stallion with a great foundation and classic speed horse pedigree. His sire, Sonny Sugar, sired AQHA Register of Merit in roping & reining, reining futurity winners, as well as top rodeo money earners in calf roping, heading, heeling, breakaway, barrel racing, and NCHA cutting; he also sired winners in racing and halter. The dam of Sonny Pep San was Anna San, a daughter of World Champion, Mr San Peppy.
