Norman and Solange Nikkel established Oakhaven Ranch Inc. in 1983. Oakhaven Ranch Inc. is nestled in the heart of the picturesque Interlake region of Manitoba, Canada. It is a family oriented working ranch and equestrian centre located 1 hour north of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
From a small band of mares, the ranch has grown to a base herd of over 200 horses. Our herd consists of Registered Percherons, Registered Belgians and Registered Quarter Horses.
The ranch encompasses 4000 acres of cropland and natural parkland. The main horse facility contains two stabling areas connected by an indoor riding arena. The complex also includes a viewing area, tack room, staff room, a service/ repair shop, and a carriage room.
Ranching operations and training are carried out by family members and staff who are committed to raising quality horses with potential to be top performers either in the show ring, for pleasure riding and driving or for ranch work.
